How it works

It's Not Video

Rewind records and plays back changes to the page DOM, instead of recording full video. This makes it efficient enough to run in the background, and gives more playback detail too.

Rich Recordings

When playing back a recording, Rewind reproduces the original page DOM as accurately as possible. This provides a ton of actionable information when debugging issues. Examine all the original elements in the Devtools console.

Leave it Running

The extension is highly optimized to have very little overhead. You won't notice that it's running.

Designed for Security

Browsers contain highly sensitive information, so we take your data security seriously. When running in the background, the extension makes no external calls at all. All data is stored local-only until you choose to upload something.
